FAQ

What is PDR?

PDR stands for paintless dent removal. It is the process of removing minor damage such as door dings, smaller dents, minor creases and hail damage from the metal panels of your car, truck, or suv. See the PDR process

Do you have any guarantees?

Yes. We want you to be 100% satisfied with our work so you can tell all your friends and family about our service. If your not satisfied for any reason, then there will be no cost to you. It’s that simple!

What are the benefits?

1) Factory Finish.  PDR saves the factory paint job on your vehicle which is always a huge plus. If you could get away without having to paint the car, then why wouldn’t you? The paint will never match perfectly, and every time you want to trade in or sell your car, anyone with a trained eye (including all dealers) will know it’s been painted. Then all of a sudden, you start hearing phrases uttered like “This car’s been wrecked,” whether it has or not. Goodbye trade-in/resale value.

2) Cost.   PDR is a fraction of the cost of a body shop repair. There are no expensive materials (high dollar paints, fillers, etc…) to pay for, nor hours and hours of labor to factor in. You could save anywhere from 50% to 80% from the cost of a body shop.

3) Time.  Why not have your car repaired in minutes as opposed to days?  Most small door dings can be fixed in under 30 minutes. The larger damage will take longer, but we’re talking minutes to a couple of hours, not a weekend. Sometimes the body shop will need to keep your car for a week or longer. Oh and don’t forget about the rental car. Besides, with Dent Works mobile service, you don’t have to go anywhere. Your car will be repaired while you’re at the office or just chillin at home. Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed.

Will the dents I have on my leased car be an issue when I go to turn it in?

Absolutely. You will be charged for all cosmetic damage. And I can guarantee that what you will be charged for the dents will far outweigh the cost of repairing them prior to the end of your lease.

Will the dent ever “pop back in” after it has been repaired?

No. Once the dent is fixed, it’s fixed. The only way to put a dent back in the same spot, is to, well…put a dent back in the same spot.

Can PDR fix anything?

No. There is a limit to what PDR can fix. If the damage is too deep, sharp, or just too mangled up, it will have to go to a body shop. Location of the damage also plays a key role. In addition, PDR can’t always achieve a 100% repair. If the paint is damaged or if the dent is just too extensive, then oftentimes PDR can be used to “prep” the job for either a body shop or a mobile paint repair company. This will always save you a lot of money on the back end of the total repair cost.

Can PDR repair dents on my bumper?

Yes. But like the metal panels, there are limits to what will come back out. It is a heating and slow working process that’s involved. If the dent is too deep or inaccessible, then it’s not going to come back out.  PDR cannot repair dented steel bumpers.
